Everything from beginning to end was basically perfect. When I called in, a lady was extremely nice and patient with me when I had questions. A guy who works in the back held the door on my way in like a perfect gentleman. The food was amazing. They cook with corn oil which makes the egg rolls to die for. Even the leftovers of my Kung Pao lunch special were great. All of the ingredients seemed fresh and the fried rice had delicious pieces of pork mixed in. The best part is it is inexpensive and I could definitely do this once a week. Looking forward to revisiting soon!

We were in the area and wanted to pick up some take out to take home. I have always heard of this place but dont live close to it. Anyway, the phone order process was very smooth. The person was very nice and answered all of our noodle questions. All the food was so so good, but the best was the egg rolls. I'm obsessed and will definitely be back.

This is a place I used to frequent years ago. Their food is great. Their dining room is closed, so now it is take out only. Not sure if it's a remodel or what. They have a 4 page menue that looks like it has over 100 items on it. I got the Happy Family, and it was great! It took about 10-15 minutes to get the order. I will be going back soon.

This is definitely my favorite Chinese Restaurants in the area. I asked them when they were going to open the dining in part, but they said not this year. It is one of the few restaurants that I have gone to alone and not felt out of place. They are genuinely gracious, the food is delicious and the price is right where it should be. I particular like the appetizers, especially the shrimp toast. Thank you Hong Chong for all of the above.

Ordered delivery from Hong Kong Chop Suey by doordash, so my review will only be in regards to the food. Overall we were pleased, but I have to agree with other reviews that the dishes are a bit bland overall. The General Tso's chicken was our favorite, but the BBQ Pork Fried Rice that came with it might as well have been white rice for all the flavor it had. The Crab Rangoons were good, but were utterly absent of even a wisp of Crab taste. The Chicken Chow Mein was by far the least impressive, it was a gooey, starchy, flavorless glop. Not the worst Chinese food I've had in the area, but certainly nothing to write home about.

Ordered delivery. Great service. The WORST Chinese food I've ever had. The Mongolian Beef didn't even look right and tasted like salt water. The egg rolls are almost without flavor. The shrimp fried rice is bland. This isn't even acceptable for the suburbs. I'm really sorry because I feel bad leaving this review but we paid over $80 for our food and feel like half of it will be tossed. If I could say anything good, it's that the ingredients seem fresh and not overcooked, but it's like they think we can't handle good flavor. This food is for mouth breathers. If you have any kind of palate, run.

We have been eating from here since highschool, 20+ years ago, when it was a small spot near Walgreens. This is the best Chinese Food in Lake Co. Hands DOWN!! Always super hot, super fresh and super fast. Man I miss this place so much. I'm coming out this month for my birthday, can't wait. Love ya HKCS.

We have been going here for many years there egg rolls are all handmade and absolutely delicious! We usually get there cashew beef with pineapple fried rice with pork and crab ragoon. Thats our go to meals but all there food is really good kids love there sweet and sour chicken.
